Mihály Vajda, the last of György Lukács’ closest pupils (better known as the “Budapest School”), who, in constant debate with his master and in dialogue with other members of Lukács’ circle, left behind a vast oeuvre and countless pupils, has died.
From now on, it is entirely up to posterity to decide what to do with Lukács’ legacy.
